I used to drive myself crazy for years because of cold weather and wet blankets. That is until I found the best dog houses ever, The Dog Palace. Since they are not available in stores, I decided to become a distributer of this fine product. Each dog house is raised off the ground. Therefor, I no longer have to worry about my dogs blankets being wet after I hose down my kennels. Since the doggy door is off the ground and thick, no water gets inside anymore. The dogs also do not pull their blankets out of the house anymore like they used to. I used to spend about a half hour at least each evening making sure the dogs blankets were dry. It was a real pain taking the wet blankets out and replacing them with dry ones. They also got dirty a lot. Now, I just relax because I know the blankets are dry and clean. When I spray down my kennels, I can also spray the dog houses to clean the outside, and the inside stays dry. I live in central Florida. Therefor, severe cold weather is not a threat, but it does get in the teens sometimes. Since it only gets below 20 degrees about once a year, I no longer have to crate my dogs at night in the winter much. In fact, last winter, I did not crate them at all. They are just fine as long as it is above 20 degrees. They would be fine if it were under 20, but I just could not sleep thinking about them possibly being cold. When it thunders outside, my dogs can not hear it like before when they are in their new houses. They think they are cool little guys with these houses that are more like real houses and totally unlike the dog houses they had in the past. I put little decks in front of them so they do not have to jump so far to get in and out. These houses only come in one size and my big dogs cannot use them. They are made for dogs that are under 80 pounds or so. They are not designed for my tiny chihuahuas. It took them about a week to learn how to get in and out, but now, even the little 3 pounders can do it with ease. UPDATE: Dog Palaces now come in smaller sizes perfect for a 20 pound dog, or 4 chihuahuas. They cost $150 which includes shipping.
Although the larger dog houses are pretty easy to put together, the smaller ones are simple. I put mine together in 3 minutes.
My chihuahuas learned how to use them instantly too. I am so pleased with them.

They are easy to assemble. I did all 15 of mine by myself, and I am not very handy.
This is the inside of the house. It is very comfortable for dogs and very quiet from all the insolation.
If you are one of those sick and heartless people that have their dog chained to a tree
with a dog house for their only shelter, you really need one of these. Your neighbors
who currenlty think of you as a complete low life, may start to have some respect for you
finally. At least your poor lonely dog will finally have a place that is free of draft and
free of rain. You can actually give the poor soul a blanket that will stay dry for a change.
I was so glad to see that the company finally started making the houses in smaller sizes.
As you can see, I made it to where even my little puppies can go in and out of the houses.
Of course, they are not out in the elements. This is Florida in the summer time and the
houses can be opened like this as long as they are under a roof as well, like my babies are.
As you can see, my dogs think they are cool cats with their new houses.
It may be wet and cold on the outside, but boy is is dry and warm on the inside!
